Our Screen Off Life On campaign is returning this summer, and we want as many Bradford families as possible to get involved.
The idea is simple: swap a bit of screen time for something active, together. Screen Off Life On is a free resource built by Bradford families, for Bradford families, with tips and tools for children, young people and adults to help you get up, get out, and get happy.
It’s a topic that’s very much in the news too. In June 2026, the government announced plans to ban social media platforms from offering services to under 16s, with restrictions expected to affect platforms like Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X from spring 2027. Whatever your view on the ban, it’s a sign that screen time is firmly on the national agenda, and Screen Off Life On is here to help your family start making changes now, in a way that works for you.
Screen Off Life On includes a parent guide and a family plan, packed with simple ideas for swapping screen time for something else. No special equipment or big plans are needed.
